The study used descriptive correlational research. Quota sampling was used in the study. Statistical tools such as mean, frequency, percentage and standard deviation were applied to interpret the demographic profile of the participants. Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney Tests were used to determine the significant difference, while Spearman Rank was used to determine the relationship between level of job satisfaction and performance. The employees in supermarkets were mostly young, male, single, and newly employed. They were highly satisfied and had good job performance. Only one indicator of job satisfaction such as compensation had a significant difference in terms of age. No significant difference was detected in terms of work condition, work itself, and job security when participants are grouped according to age, gender, civil status, and length of service. There was no significant difference found in the level of performance when grouped according to age, gender, civil status, and job security. Job satisfaction was significantly related to job performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that efficiency and effectiveness of employees in performing their job affected the level of job satisfaction.
