A study was conducted to determine the habits and preferences of high school students of Indang, Cavite towards fast food. The respondents were 162 high school students from Saint Gregory Academy, Indang National High School, Perpetual Cavite Institute and Cavite State University — Science High School. Hamburger, French fries, spaghetti, and fried chicken were the most common food ordered by the high school students. For beverages, soft drinks were the most commonly ordered and for dessert, ice cream was preferred. Almost all the respondents reported that they ate occasionally in fast food. Lunch and afternoon snacks were the most preferred type of meal of all of the respondents. Dine-in was the type of order mostly covered. Most of the respondents ate in fast food chains with their family. Friends or peers influence most of the respondents to eat in fast food chain.
