Abstract: MASANA, GEMMA CAC, Amabilis Orchids Incorporated: Trece Martires City" An Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Don Severino Agricultural College. April 1994. Adviser: Miss Lina C. Abogadie. A three—month field study was conducted at Amabilis Orchid Farm, a business firm located at Bo .Aguado, Trece Mar tires City. The three-month field study gave the trainee a chance to apply her knowledge in Agribusiness Management. Moreover, the writer was able to identify some of the common problems in the firm. She suggested some solutions to them. Amabilis Orchid Farm employed 17 people including those in the management level. There were conflicts among workers because of personal reasons. Most of the time work is not well divided among the workers so that some performed more of the daily activities than the rest. This is not known by the management. It was noticeable that the field technician doesn’t ' t have a good relationship with other workers. He doesn’t 't accept the idea of others even if it is better than his idea to this, the writer recommends that the management should have regular meetings and set of policies and regulations that will serve as guide to workers inside the farm. The manager should also accept ideas of those in lower levels because those workers have first-hand experiences regarding problems and situations in the farm. There are different modes of payment for workers, the daily and the monthly basis. Most of the workers paid on daily basis are not very efficient so the management should strictly supervise the employees during their working hours.
