Adviser, Professor Simeon So Crucido An experiment was carried out at the research farm of the Don Severino Agricultural College,Indang, Cavite to determine the corn plant responses to row spacing of 50, 759 80 and 100 centimeters. The treatments that were randomly arranged were replicated four times using a randomized complete block design. Corn height was not significantly affected by the row spacings used in the study 0 Only at 90 days after emergence (DE) was the corn leaf dry mass per square meter significantly differ with Treatments I, 3 and 4 being higher than Treatment 20 There was no significant result obtained for leaf dry mass per plant at any stage of growth 0 The effect of corn row spacing on stem dry mass per square meter was significant only at 40 and 90 days after emergence. The stem dry mass per plant appeared to be significantly different among treatments only at 40 days after emergence, The total dry matter per square meter of corn that was significantly different at 409 75 and 90 days after emergence failed to show the same result in a per plant basis at all stages of growth, While the ear dry mass per square meter and per plant from all treatments were significantly different at 75 and 90 days after emergence, the kernel dry mass, weight of 200 kernels and the harvest index were not significant.
