This farm practice project entitled, Flower and Bulb Production of Gladiola Intercropped With Peanut Using Complete and Organic Fertilizers was conducted at the Crop Science Production Project, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from August 1992 to January 1993. The project was undertaken to gain more knowledge and actual experience in the production of Gladiola intercropped with peanut using complete and Organic Fertilizer. One thousand dozens of gladiola flower were harvested and sold at P20.00/dozen. Total number of corms produced was 15,000 and were sold at P.50 centavos each. Peanuts produced 50 kilograms of unshelled nuts and was sold at P38.00 per kilogram. The gross sales from gladiola and peanut was P29,400.00. After deducting the total expenses of P19,196.625, the project gave a net income of P10,203,375.
Based from this figure, the project realized a Return of Investment of 53.15%.
