Abstract: A Farm Practice on backyard broiler production was conducted at the DSAC Poultry Farm, Indang, Cavite from June 30 to August 14, 1995. A total of 485 birds was recovered out of 500 birds raised, with 3.0 percent mortality. The birds consumed a total of 2,025 kg of feed or an average of 4.16 kg. After 45 days, an average final body weight of 2.03 kg was obtained, giving a feed conversion efficiency of 2.09 kg. The project had a gross income of V 59,263.00 with actual expenses of P 41,883.85. A net income of 17,379.15 was realized, resulting in a 41.49 percent return on investment.
