Abstract: The project was conducted at Don Severino Agri-cultural College, Indang, Cavite from February 3, 1987 to July 3, 1987 to determine the growth rate of fattener and cost of production in raising cattle by force feeding concentrates. The cattle was grazed during the day and force fed every afternoon for five months. The roughage consisted of napier, cogon, para grass and other available grasses while the concentrate was a mixture of 50% copra meal, 25% rice bran, 24% dried chicken manure and 1% powdered shell. The cattle consumed a total of 149 kilograms of concentrate feeds. After 149 days of feeding, it attained a body weight of 177.3 kilograms with an average monthly we tight of 15.7 kilograms. At the end of the operation the cattle was marketed on wholesale basis. It gave a total net return of 11,549.90 at 153.00 per kilogram live weight.
