Abstract: The project "Relay Cropping of Corn and Eggplant was conducted in Buna Lejos from August 1 981b to March 1 985. it enabled the student and the farmer cooperator to employ the technical knowledge in producing corn and e eggplant An area of about 4,000 square meters was utilized for the growing of corn during the first cycle. The area was plowed and harrowed twice, followed by furrowing and planting the first application of fertilizer was done by broadcasting method. The second application was done during the vegetative stage. Four months later, harvesting was done, a total of 142 gantas of corn was harvested and a net income of about P 548.00 was obtained. Two weeks before harvesting the remaining corn plant, the area was used for planting eggplant. The holes were made in between corn plant at a distance of ninety centimeters between rows and sixty centimeters between hills. Seedlings were transplanted last February One hundred fifty fruits were harvested and sold at P. 10 per fruit. A gross income of PI ,500.00 was obtained in the project. After deducting all the expenses, a net income of P 460.00 was attained.
