Abstract: This farm: practice project, entitled Off-Season Plan-ting of Tomato Intercropped with Sweetpepper under. Lowland Condition,, was conducted primarily to enable, the students to-gain actual experience, in handling, and managing a small scale, production project. Moreover, it aimed to determine the. cast and return of producing tomato intercropped. with sweet pepper. Panagulan variety at tomato and All-Season variety o.f sweet pepper were. planted in a 1,000 square. meter field located at Tanza, Cavite.. All. the recommended: cultural management practices were employed, to off-set the possible adverse effect of rainy season on the crop. Occurrence of tomato fruit worm. (Helicoverpa armigera) and leaf mold (Cladosporium fulvum) on tomato: and sweet pepper. were observed two weeks after transplanting. Moreover, the damage on the plants. was controlled due to the immediate spra-ying of Malathion and Dithane-Lo at the recommended rate. After two months, the tomatoes and sweet pepper ware harvested at weekly. intervals. Tomato gave a yield. of 150 kilograms, giving a gross sales of P2,437.00.. Likewise sweet pepper gave a yield, of 90 kilograms with a gross sales of P1,975.00. The project obtained a total gross sales of P4,412.00. After deducting the total expenses of P2,737.64, the project gave a net income of P1,674.36. The return of investment was 61.16 percent which showed that for P1.00 spent, a profit of P0.61 was obtained..
