Abstract: The farm practice "Production of Glutinous White Corn Intercropped with Squash" was conducted at Lumampong Balagbag, Indang, Cavite from November 1990 to February 1991, The project aimed to enable the student to apply the acquired theoretical know— ledge in Agriculture through actual corn production intercropped with squash, to gain experience on actual farm operations, to determine the cost and re— turn of intercropping corn with squash and to generate income through corn production intercropped with squash. An area of 1,500 square meter field was plowed twice, each followed by thorough harrowing at an interval of one week to eliminate weeds and to level the field. Two kilograms of corn seeds (Glutinous White) were used for planting, three corn seeds were directly sown in the furrows 75 centimeters apart and 50 centimeters between hills and later these were thinned into two plants 0 Squash were planted in between the furrows of corn, three meters between hills and four meters between rows. Germination of corn and squash took five to six days after planting, respectively 0 Corn was harvested 78 days after planting. Squash fruits were harvested 74 days after planting and was repeated whenever full size was attained. Corn ears were sold at Squash fruits however, provided a total sale of 7675.000 The combined production amounted to a gross sales of 72, 925000 which further provided a net income of PI, 129,700
