A three-month enterprise development project was conducted in Cavite State University Main Campus in Indang,, Cavite from November 21, 2013 to February 13, 2014. The project aimed to determine the profitability of producing innovative products such as burgers, sandwiches and hotdog sandwiches and develop marketing strategies, determine the capacity of the students in applying their gained knowledge, skills and theories learned in business management to the actual operation of the business, and identify the problems encountered during the operation of the business, and finding workable solutions for the identified problems. The operation and responsibilities of the project were equally shared and performed by the entrepreneurs. The project covered the functional management areas such as planning, leading, organizing and controlling. The type of ownership was partnership, where the owners equally shared the responsibilities and capital on the said project. A starting capital of P 36,000.00, which was equally shared by the entrepreneurs, was utilized in the enterprise. For the whole operation of the business, the enterprise generated a total sale of P 173, 745.00, costs of food sales amounting to P 126, 741.08 and a gross profit of P 47,003.92. After deducting the cost of food sold to the total sales, a net income of P 26,681.54 was obtained from the operation. During the operation of the business, the entrepreneurs encountered problems. The entrepreneurs encountered inadequate supplies of products due to the high demand of the products. The most unexpected problem that the entrepreneurs encountered, was when one of the entrepreneurs got ill that affects the operation of the entire business operations. Through this project the students were able to apply the skills, knowledgeand strategies in handling a business. The experiences operating in this project may help them put up their own business someday.
