Abstract: ARAYATA, JEAN AUDREY 0. DILOY, KATHERINE MICHELLE M., and JOHN PATRICK I. GARCIA., ESTYLO. Enterprise Development Project. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2008. Adviser: Prof. Ma. Corazon A. Buena. The project aimed to provide the students a chance to apply the knowledge and skills learned in business management to actual situations. The business was a three month operation engaged in personalizing mugs and plates through designing of colored glues for lettering and/or printed decal sticker. The production for personalization consisted of six stages which includes preparation of mugs and plates, designing, drying, coating of nail polish for decal designs, inspecting, and packaging. Production of personalized mugs and plates were based upon the volume of orders of the customers. Business transactions such as purchasing, production, sales and inventories were monitored from the start of the business until the end. The customers of Estylo included mothers, employees/faculties, students and friends from Alfonso, Cavite, Trece Martires City, Cavite and Tanza, Cavite. The highest volume of production during sthe first month of operation and the lowest was in the third month. The highest sales were in first month amounted PhP29, 580.00 and the lowest was in the second month with only PhP5, 970.00. The mark-up price of the products was determined through cost based pricing which were 40-60% of the selling price. To market their products to a large number of customers, the entrepreneurs used promotional tools such as tarpaulins, brochures, flyers and calling cards. They also gave ten percent discounts to valued customers who purchased a dozen of personalized mugs and/or plates. In the entire operation, the enterprise generated total sales of PhP 44, 184.00. Estylo generated a net income of PhP7, 875.58 and a cash ending balance of P19, 626.59. Balance sheet had Total Assets amounting of PhP 37,875.58 which is equal to Total Liabilities and Partner's Equity. The business' Gross Profit Margin was 45.7 percent, Net Profit Margin was 17.8 percent, Return on Investment was 26.25 percent and the Return on Assets was 20.79 percent
