Abstract: RONEL E. ASAS and JOYNALYN C. PANGANIBAN, Online Information, Education and Communication Material for Dragon Fruit. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite March 2009. Adviser Ms. Charlotte B. Carandang The study was conducted to provide a comprehensive development of promotion of products from dragon fruit and post latest news and announcements, and posting related to the issues about dragon fruit, the system has capability to produce reports needed by the administrator. The system provides functionality that can handle the promotion of the products and posting the news announcement and article. The system also provides the user to access other features of the system the administrator to manage the adding, editing deleting the content of the system. Production of reports was also provided by the system. The Prototyping Model was used in the development methodology which has four phases: Prototype Requirements, Prototype Design, Prototype System and Testing. In the coding part, C# as the programming language, ASP.Net as server-side scripting language, MS SQL as the database technology for data storage, Internet Information Services (IIS) as the server, Internet Explorer as the default browser and Microsoft Word for the documentation. The system was evaluated by the respondents based on the given criteria: User Friendliness, Reliability, Consistency, Accuracy, and Efficiency. Evaluators were composed of employees from Research Center and other users. The system passed all the given criteria in evaluation and met all the targeted features and functionality as well as the requirements and its objectives.
