Abstract: SALANGSANG, JOHN ISAIAH C., Satisfaction and Perceived Competence of Foreign Students of Cavite State University-Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in International Studies major in European Studies. Cavite State University , Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Dr. Antonio G. Papa. The study was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction and perceived competence of 55 foreign students in CvSU-Main Campus. Descriptive — correlational research design was utilized. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient was used to test if there are relationships between the selected variables of the study. The participants had an average of 23 years, more are male, Africans, Christians, and stayed at CvSU for an average of 3.49 years, and with an average monthly allowance ofP11, 573. The participants were satisfied with their stay in CVSU. They also had high perceived competence. The sex and length of stay in CvSU of the participants had significant relationship with their level of satisfaction and perceived competence. Hence, the null hypothesis was partially rejected. Likewise, there was a weak positive significant relationship between the level of satisfaction and their perceived competence, thus, the null hypothesis was rejected. It is recommended that improvement of some school facilities like comfort rooms and classrooms be conducted and school services, namely: enrolment system, medical services, and academic experiences at CVSU be implemented. Improvement of the above mentioned facilities, services, and experiences will redound to attracting more foreign students to enroll in the university.
