A study was conducted in Cavite State University main campus to determine the perception of the varsities of the CvSU-Main Campus about the 70 base grading system in attaining the excellence in sports and academic performance. Especially, the study determined the demographic profile of the participants in terms of their age, sex, course and grade point average; identify the perception of the varsities of CvSU-Main Campus about 70 base grading system in attaining the excellence in sports and academic performance when grouped according to demographic profile.
The Participants were I 1 1 varsities of Cavite State University main campus. They were selected using the Random Sampling technique. A survey questionnaire was used to gather the data needed in the study. 1 he Results showed that most of the varsities have negative perceptions about the 70 base grading system in terms of their sports and academic performance.
