Abstract: JANDI, MARK ALLESON O. and RATONEL, ADRIAN A. E-learning on Front Office Management for Cavite State University Indang, Cavite Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University — Main Campus Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Charlotte B. Carandang. The study aimed to give information to the students of Cavite State University Indang, Cavite in the Department of College of Education as well as to give solution to the problems met by the teacher of BSTM 3rd year students in Cavite State University Indang, Cavite regarding to the learning process. The e-learning system is capable of providing a fast and easy way of learning the front office management subject. It consists of five modules namely: Account Management Module, Learning Content Module, Section Management Module, Front Office Practice Module and Report Module. Feature Driven Development methodology was used as to progressively complete the entire system, which include the develop an overall model of the desired application, develop a list of the desired features, prioritize that list into an implementation plan, design by feature and build by feature. In developing the system, the developers used PHP as a core programming language, MySQL as a database management system and HTML/CSS and Bootstrap for web design. Notepad++ was the text editor used for coding. Adobe Photoshop was used for the design and JQuery/JavaScript for the scripting language. The system was evaluated by one teacher in front office management including the tourism students of Cavite State University — Main Campus. The criteria for the software evaluations are divided into two, for technical: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness and for the non-technical: functionality, reliability, usability, and user-friendliness. Based on the evaluation results of the evaluation, the software passed and was able to comply with all the requirements as it met its objectives.
