Lopez This study was conducted in Cavite covering the animal feeds retailing business of Cavite from August 2018 to April 2019. This was conducted to determine the supply management practices of animal feeds retailers of Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to describe the socio-demographic characteristics of the owners of animal feeds retailer business; describe the business profiles of the animal feeds retailers; determine the supply management practices of animal feeds retailers; and determine the problems encountered in supply management of the animal feeds retailers. The descriptive method was used in this study. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources. The participants of the study were the owners/managers, staff, and operator of the retailing businesses. The study was conducted in selected areas of Cavite such as: Alfonso, Dasmarinas, Indang, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez, Naic, Tanza, and Trece Martires, Cavite. The researchers used total enumeration sampling technique wherein the researchers’ conducted surveys with the participants. Frequency, percentages, and mean were used for the statistical treatment of data. The educational attainment of the participants of the study resulted that 35.7 percent of them were college graduates; 17.1 percent reached college level; 7.1 percent graduated vocational course; 37.1 percent were high school graduates and 2.9 percent reached high school level. Most of the animal feeds retailers were located in Dasmarinas (35.7) and most of the retailers has been in the industry for 1-5 years (47.1). The data showed that most (92.9) of the retailers were sole proprietorship. The data also showed that 81 percent of the retailers offered 10 products. The study showed that most (75.7) of the owners of the animal feeds retailers were responsible for acquisition of the supplies. Sixty percent of the animal feeds retailers were buying their supplies outside Cavite while 50 percent of the retailers had their supplies delivered. Most (58.6) of the retailers acquire their supplies weekly. 85.7 percent of the retailers preferred many suppliers. Most (21.7) of the retailers acquire their supplies from Thunderbird. 55.7 of the retailers where the owners were in-charge of their inventory. Most (48.6) of the retailers were using visual control. 45.7 percent of the retailers accounted for the managers as the in-charge of distributing their products. Most (64.2) of the retailers preferred cash as the mode of payment.

Most (21.7) of the retailers acquire their supplies from Thunderbird. 55.7 of the retailers where the owners were in-charge of their inventory.
