Abstract: BAUTISTA, CHARLENE GRACE V. and CONTRERAS, KEVIN DANUEL L. Online Information System for Bailen Agri Business Group. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Pereña. The study entitled Online Information System for Bailen Agri Business Group was conducted to help the BailenAgri Business Group Inc. to advertise their own product online and ease the generation of their inventory reports. It was conducted from June 2013 to February 2014 in the Department of Information Technology building of Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. It specifically aimed to identify the problems through interview, analyze these problems using fishbone diagram and formulate appropriate solution to solve the identified problems, design a system that should be user friendly that helps the managers and the employees in their business transactions, develop an online information system through the use of PHP, MySQL, and Adobe Photoshop, and lastly, to evaluate the system to determine its functionality, reliability usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The system development was used as the methodology in creating the software. It consist of seven process workflows; analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code test/debug, integration of sub procedures, integration with existing system, test/implementation. The software was developed through the use of different development tools including the following: PHP, MySQL, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver, Red Koda, and Microsoft Office. The system was evaluated by all of its potential end-users, such as personnel of Bailen Agri Business Group, and their clients. It was evaluated using the evaluation form based on ISO 9126. The results were tabulated, analyzed, and statistically treated using mean and standard deviation. Based on the results of software evaluation, it was assessed as very good on its functionality (x=3.95, sd=0.67), very good on its reliability (x=4.02, Sd=0.72), very good on its usability (x=4.09, sd-0.66), very good on its efficiency (x-3.93, sd-0.73), very good on its maintainability (x-3.92, sd-0.69), and very good on its portability (x=3.96, sd-0.71). Therefore, it was proven that the created information system provides the organization a new and better way of improving the operation inside the organization. The difficulties coming from the organization were answered by the function of the system. Accessing and retrieval of information as well as generation of reports were easily conducted by the users. The system also ensured the security of files and records of the organization. For enhancements and improvements of the system, the following recommendations are offered to be integrated with the system; point of sale for the organization, graphical representation of reports, forums for client transaction, ordering of goods through the system, and directory for the location of the store.
