Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. Max' 2019. Adviser. Dr. Susan G. Tan. The study was conducted from August 2018 to May 2019 in the Cavite State University — Main Campus. The study aims to determine the demographic profile, level of awareness, and effects of student to student sexual harassment in Cavite State University — Main Campus. Specifically, the study gathered the demographic profile of the selected students such as: age, and gender preference. The study also determines the level of awareness in terms of verbal. non-verbal, and physical sexual harassment on student to student sexual harassment. it further determines the effects of sexual harassment on the selected students in terms of self- esteem and academic performance. The gathered information was used to determine the significant relationship between demographic profile and level of awareness of students on student to student sexual harassment. as well as the level of awareness of students on student to student sexual harassment and the effects of sexual harassment to students. Based on findings. most of the selected students age ranges from 18-19 years old are the most frequent participants who are mostly in the freshmen level. There are 130 masculine selected students. 130 feminine selected students. 18 lesbian selected students, 47 gay selected students, 65 bisexual selected students in Cavite State University — Main Campus. Also, Level of awareness of the selected students in terms of verbal. non-verbal. and physical sexual harassment are overall verbally interpreted as Very aN\ are. Despite of being freshmen the selected students are already aware on different types of student to student sexual harassment. As for effects of sexual harassment to selected students in terms of self-esteem the participant was strongly agreed that sexual harassment has an big effect on their self- esteem, while on the academic performance the participants was agreed that it affect their studies. The researchers conclude that there is a significant relationship between the demographic profile of the selected students and their level on awareness on student-to- student sexual harassment. The data revealed that the selected students are aware on the different types of sexual harassment especially the lesbian. The researchers also conclude that there is a significant relationship between the level of awareness of the selected students and the effects of the sexual harassment to the selected students. The data revealed that the selected students are very aware but still affected by the sexual harassment in terms of their self-esteem and academic performance. More so, For the administration of Cavite State University-Main Campus, it is recommended to conduct more comprehensive seminar in relation to student to student sexual harassment inside the university campus. It needs to conduct comprehensive seminar in even' start of the school year in all year level to inform and remind that some simple acts can result to sexual harassment. Likewise_ Administration need also to provide appropriate punishment to those offender of student to student sexual harassment to serve as deterrent to other possible offender. Counseling of the victim to lessen the trauma caused by sexual harassment and give proper advice. And for the offender to seek advice that these acts can caused trauma to victims. And to change its perceptions toward sexual harassment. Administration should implement strict dress code to those students in Cavite State University — Main Campus to lessen the opportunity of the harasser or offender to commit such sexual harassment. Furthermore, for future researcher they may extend this research to find other possible way in resolving the issue of student to student sexual harassment. and serve as basis for future related research study. And lastly, for students to serve this as informative material that may be use as basis for knowing the rights of a person in combating student to student sexual harassment. and use for the making of future policy in their community.
