Abstract: LABESIG, ARRIANE 0. CHORYO Toolings System, Silang, Cavite. Undergraduate Field Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2007. Adviser: Dr. Nelia C. Cresino. A field study was conducted from November 13, 2006 to February 17, 2007 to expose the trainee to the actual operations of the firm, and at the same time apply theoretical knowledge and skills gained in the classrooms. Specifically, it aimed to: describe the organization and management of the firm; describe the marketing activities of the firm; and, identify the problems encountered by the firm and recommend feasible solutions to the problems identified. The information presented in the study were obtained through observations, interviews with the Plant Manager, and from the manual, files and records of the firm's Human Resource Assistant. The CTS production operations mainly focus on metal works fabrication and production of automobile spare parts, specifically for cars and motorcycles. Referrals through sister companies and suppliers and visits to the company website, choryo@mindgate.net were the promotional strategies used by the company. CTS distributes motorcycle and car pieces to the following manufacturers: Masuda, Honda, Yutaka, T's Tech, Wacker, Mepco, JPN, Technologist and Franke Food. CHORYO Tooling System encountered three major problems such as: delayed delivery of finished products to consumers, high volume of rejects and the frequent breakdown of machineries. Entering in electronics and production of household utensils, specifically kitchen wares are the firm's long term target. Work assignment at the Human Resource Department involved clerical works and helping the HRD assistant. Clerical works include updating the 201 files, encoding and photocopying necessary documents, receiving telephone calls, sending messages through fax, and filing HRD documents. She encountered difficulties in adjusting to her work and with other employees at the start of the field study
