Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Operations and Marketing. Cavite State University. Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Ms. Iluminada R. Hernandez. The MDC's Binalot sa Dahon Atbp. was conducted from November 26, 2012 to March 10, 2013 beside the College of Economics, Management and Development Studies building. The project was conducted to describe the operation of the project; determine the market profitability of binalot sa dahon; and determine the problems that maybe encountered in the production and marketing of binalot sa dahon and recommend workable solutions for the identified problems. The project was engaged in the production and marketing of binalot sa dahon as the main product of the project. The product was composed of chosen viand (hamonado, chili con came, chicken adobo and etc.), rice, sliced egg and tomato at P 38.00. The production activities such as preparing raw materials, cooking of viands, preparation of binalot and selling/serving to customers were the tasks that the entrepreneurs performed during the operation. The entrepreneurs also offered egg sandwich and ham sandwich, cheesetick, mineral water, soft drinks and Plus juice. The project generated a total sales of P 121,675.00, and a net income of P 27,521.51. The total fixed asset amounted to P3, 748.40 and raw materials inventory amounted to P 127.50, which when added to cash on bank, produced a total asset of P 57, 521.51. The problems that were encountered during the operation, include the difficultiesin wrapping up meals using the "Dahon ng Saging" that leads to a longer time in preparation; longer time of serving binalot to customers especially when there's a big number of orders; lack of manpower was another problem. The project helped and trained the students to gain a broader range of knowledge and experiences necessary for the management of their own future business.
