Abstract: ALBA, LOVELY V., MONTALES, GLENDA J.,and PANINGBATAN, RHEA V., GRL’S SNACK CORNER. Enterprise Development Project. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. November 2011. Adviser: Ms. Iluminada R. Hernandez The enterprise development project aimed to provide the students an opportunity to utilize the knowledge and skills learned in Business Management applied to the actual situation. It is specifically, aimed to described the production and marketing of GRL’s snack corner, to determined the profitability of producing and selling of GRL’s snack comer products, and to identify the problems encountered in the operation of the enterprise. The business was engaged in making and selling tacos, nachos, hotdog buns, cheese stick and beverages such as juice and Smart C for three months. Most of the customers of GRL’s Snack Corner were students from Cavite State University. The enterprise used “word of mouth” as their promotional tool. The price of the products was based on the cost of production. The student entrepreneurs had an initial investment of PhP30, 000.00. From this capital, the enterprise generated a total sales of PhP89, 586.00 a net income of PhP22, 508.30 and cash ending balance of PhP42, 901.69. The balance sheet shows the partner’s equity amounting to PhP52, 508.30. The problems encountered by the entrepreneurs were the irregular buyers and very stiff competition from their co-entrepreneurs who are conducting the same business at the same place. In addition, there was an inconsistent demand for the product and increased prices of other raw materials resulted in decrease amount of raw materials per serving. Through this entrepreneurial project, the entrepreneurs capabilities, social skills, and decision making techniques in managing the business were developed.
