Abstract: This farm practice was undertaken in Barangay Mahabang Kahoy Cereal Indang, Cavite. This project aimed to provide the farm practice student with actual exposure to crop management and also to develop the skills of the student in mongo and eggplant production. An area of 1,500 square meter field was utilized for the growing of mongo and eggplant. The land was plowed and harrowed two times with an interval of one week. Furrowing was done at about 50 centimeters apart. Mongo seeds were planted at a distance of 20 centimeters between bills and 40 centimeters for egg-plant. The latter was covered by banana bracts immediately after transplanting so that the seedling could recover early. Common ants and flea beetle were observed attacking ,the plants one month after planting which were controlled by spraying Folidol at the rate of two tablespoonful per gallon of water at an interval of one week split application of fertilizers was done one month 2 after transplanting and the second application took place on the following month. Crops were harvested by handpicking when the fruits of eggplant had totally turned violet and the mongo had turned brown. Twenty four gantas of mongo and one hundred sixty kilos of eggplant were obtained from the project. After deducting all the expenses (02,349.00) from the gross income (03,000.00) a net income of 0651.00 was realized.
