This project was conducted at Brgy. Palumlum Alfonso, Cavite from February 3, 2017 to April 29, 2017. The project aims to develop skills in hog fattening in terms of actual operation and management of hog fattening project and to determine the profitability of hog fattening through evaluation of the different production.
The stocks of feed consumed has seven sack of starter crumble which amounted to P 10, 115.00. They also consumed sixteen sack of grower pellet which amounted P22, 865.00.
A total of 81 days hogs were raised. After the rearing period of 81 days, the hogs consumed a total of 800 kg of feeds with an average feed consumption of 100 kg per hogs. The average hog obtained an average final body weight of 67.62 kg.
