The Covid-19 pandemic started which started in 2019 has been a great threat to the people and even in the economy. Many establishments have been forced to close because of the great loss into their business. Even baking industry has been affected by the pandemic. Most small-time bakery businesses have been experiencing changes in the manufacturing procedures in order to cope up with the ongoing safety protocols for pandemic. They have been suffering to slow sales, shortages, and more that most of the bakeries were collaborating in order to come up with a strategy in supporting each other's businesses. This study was conducted among selected bakeshop owners in the upland areas in Cavite from August 2020 to May 2021. The study aimed to describe the sociodemographic profile of the owners of the bakeshops in Mendez, Silang, and Tagaytay City in terms of age and educational attainment as well as the characteristics of their business in terms of type of business ownership, years in operation, number of workers, and baked goods offered. Lastly, to determine the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on business operations. Through a structured survey questionnaire, data gathered from the selected participants. Using descriptive statistical tools, it was found that the operations, production volume and the business income of the selected bakeshops had been slightly affected by the influx of the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, it was recommended for the business owners to widen their scope to in terms of their operating hours and implementing new strategies on how to make their business cope up with this pandemic.
