A plant practice at Heavenly Urban Chef located at WH 8-C, Sunblest compound, Km 23 West Service Road, Cupang, Alabang, Muntinlupa City was conducted for 460 hours. It was conducted to provide the student trainee hands-on experience in actual production and quality control in the baking breads. The student trainee was assigned in the bakery section where skills in the use of baking utensils and equipment were developed.
Skills and techniques in ingredient inspection were applied in baking breads. Knowledge on product specification in terms of ingredient measurements, mixing, leading time, cooling time, and packing requirements were acquired. Hands-on experience in cooking and packing food in the hot kitchen was provided.
