Comparative Correlational. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2011. Thesis Adviser: Ms. Sharon M. Isip.<br/><br/>The study determined the self-efficacy, achievement motivation and career choice of selected senior students of Infant Jesus Academy of Silang Inc. and General Vito Belarmino National High School.<br/><br/>Specifically, this study sought to (a) determine the school classification of the respondents in terms of public and private; (b) determine the level of self-efficacy of the respondents; (c) determine the level of achievement motivation of the respondents; (d) determine the career choice of the respondents; (e) determine the significant difference between level of self-efficacy of the respondents when grouped according to school classification and career choice; (f) determine the significant difference between level of achievement motivation of the respondents when grouped according to school classification and career choice; (g) determine the significant relationship between school classification and self-efficacy of the respondents; (h) determine the significant relationship between career choice and self-efficacy of the respondents; (i) determine the significant relationship between school classification and achievement motivation of the respondents; and (j) determine the significant relationship between career choice and achievement motivation of the respondents.<br/><br/>There were more respondents from public school than the private school. The researcher used comparative correlational design to determine the difference and relationship between self-efficacy, achievement motivation, career choice and school classification.<br/><br/>Results revealed that there is no significant difference between the level of self- efficacy of the respondents when grouped according to school classification and career choice; and there is no significant difference between the level of self-efficacy of the respondents when grouped according to school classification and career choice. There was also no significant relationship between school classification and self-efficacy, and career choice and self-efficacy. However, there was a significant relationship between school classification and achievement motivation; and career choice and achievement motivation.<br/> |
