Abstract: CORO, MICHAEL BARREDO. Cash Savers Credit Corporation Lemery, Batangas. Field Practice Report. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Economics. Cavite State University, Indang Cavite, April 2002. Adviser: Mr. Louie R. Samson. A three-month field study was conducted at Cash Savers Credit Corporation located at Gen. Luna St., Brgy. Lucky, Lemery, Batangas. The study aimed to gather information on organization, management, production, marketing and financial aspects of the company. Gathering of data was done through observation and actual participation in the company's activities and personal interviews with the cashier, bookkeeper, and accounting clerk. Part of the training was the exposure and involvement in the different activities of the company. Problems were identified and feasible solutions were recommended. Study showed that the company faces some problems. One problem encountered is that there is no one to take the duties and responsibilities of the manager during her absence. Another problem is about overdue accounts. With this problem, the company should assign one member of the board who will take charge on the duties of the manager when she is not around. Through this, the company's operation will not slow down. The student also encountered problems during the conduct of the field study. Documents needed by the student were not readily available. The company failed to give reading materials that could help the student for his written report.
