Attendance to seminars/ trainings on cut flower producti013 volume of production as indicated by the number of flowers and total operating cost were found to be significantly related to profitability of anthurium production. The problems encountered by the respondents were the occurrence of pest and diseases, high cost of inputs, in adequate market out Lets and fluctuation of price. It was found that anthurium production has comparatively. high potential in terms of financial return per unit area, thus, anthurium growing is suitable for backyard Livelihood projects that would benefit many individuals. To improve the production of anthurium in Cavite, the growers should increase up to a certain extent, the land/ area devoted to cut flower and they should be assisted on how to prevent or minimize the occurrence of pest and diseases
