Abstract: PELLE,LENLIE NOCEDA A Survey of Business Establishments in Indang, Cavite "Undergraduate Thesis. B.S. Business Management, major in Economics, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite, April 1999. Adviser: Dr Alice T. Valerio. A study was conducted at Indang, Cavite from January 1999 to February 1999. The study aimed to: (1) identify the number and type of business establishments; (2) analyze the annual growth rate of business establishments; (3) determine the employment generated by these businesses; and (4) determine the amount of revenue received by the municipality from business establishments. Secondary data such as the revenue of the municipality, number, and lists of established businesses were secured from the records of the municipality. The highest number of business establishments was recorded in 1997 with 470 while the lowest number with 192 establishments was recorded in 1994. The highest growth rate of the number of business establishments was recorded in 1995 with 65.10 percent while the lowest growth rate of -24.90 percent was obtained in 1998. The total number of employees was 894. The highest amount of revenue received by the municipality was recorded in 1997 with P1,035,390.20.
