The student trainee conducted 400 hours of farm practice in Fresh and Green Organic Farm Inc., located at Sitio Italaro, Kayquit, Indang, Cavite. This farm practice was conducted to expose the student to actual management activities in the Farm. Management activities include: media preparation, seedling preparation, plot preparation/ cultivation, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, weeding, and harvesting. Skills of the student trainee on different production practices, pest management practices and techniques were developed. Hands on training helped the student trainee improve his skills on lettuce production and is a worthwhile experience for a graduating student.
