Abstract: MUSA, ANGELICA M. Gender Sensitivity Practices of Faculty Members Among Selected Satellite Campuses of Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Anna Michelle G- Ramos, LLB. The study was conducted from February to April 2018 among selected satellite campuses of Cavite State University to describe and analyze the gender sensitivity practices of faculty members among its selected satellite campuses- Specifically, it aimed to: (l) determine the frequency of carrying out gender sensitivity in their respective campuses through lectures discussions and activities;(2) determine the implications or possible results in implementing gender sensitivity to the students; and(3) determine the relevancy of observing gender sensitivity to the learning output of the students. The data was gathered through the conducted interview with GAD coordinators assigned to each campus and student's evaluation on how often the gender sensitivity was practiced by the faculty members in the class among selected satellites campuses of Cavite State University. I The results showed that the practices of faculty members were conducting seminars for their students as well with their faculty members, implementing memorandum released by Main Campus, and informing students and faculty members through leaflets and bulletin boards posted on their respective campuses- Moreover; the level of sensitivity of practicing gender sensitivity by faculty members showed all highly sensitive. They discussed facts and ideas that may be helpful for the other campuses or in their implementation of GAD and in promoting gender-sensitive teaching- The results may encourage them to improve their programs in relation to Gender and Development's Gender Sensitivity Topic. Moreover, it can be seen that there was a positive effect on students when they are being treated equally in their class.
