Cash flow management is crucial to the success of every business. It is an essential tool in allowing businesses to operate effectively and efficiently. It creates positive cash flows and adds value to the company, especially for small enterprises. Specifically, the study aimed to describe the socio demographic profile of participant and the profile of their business; determine the level of implementation of cash flow management through cash flow planning, monitoring, and controlling; ascertain the level of financial stability based on liquidity, solvency, and profitability; and identify if there is an association between cash flow management and financial stability of the business. The descriptive and correlational quantitative research is virtually conducted during the academic year 2020-2021 in the province of Cavite to ascertain how cash flow management is implemented by selected small food enterprises. Validated close- ended survey questionnaire was used to gather pertinent data from the participants. Fifty (50) business owners and managers were selected using purposive sampling. Analysis of the data gathered revealed that most of the participating small food businesses in Cavite implemented cash flow management by planning, monitoring, and controlling cash flows. They were also able to consistently maintain a state of financial stability as they are liquid and solvent all the time and remains profitable most of the time. It can be concurred that there is a positive correlation between cash flow management and financial stability of the business. Thus, they should consider the constant improvement of strategies in handling cash for it is crucial for them to achieve financial growth and stability.
