In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, online learning has been carried out in many countries with different types of online learning models being promoted and implemented. In the global pandemic continues, the education environment is forced to change from traditional classroom to online learning teaching model. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of learning continuity policies and guidelines of Cavite State University and to assess the factors affecting the learning process of the students in College of Criminal Justice. This paper provides quantitative research, through descriptive-correlational method and 113 criminology students from Cavite State University-College of Criminal Justice were the participants of the study. The results showed the effectiveness of learning continuity policies and guidelines of Cavite State University-College of Criminal Justice, it found out that the blended learning mode is the most effective followed by the asynchronous class mode and the least effective is the synchronous class mode. In terms of the assessment of the factors affecting the learning process of the students, it found out that the factors under the Academic policies and guidelines is the most excellent to the learning process of the students, followed by the factors under IATF guidelines and the least excellent for the learning process of the students is the factors under the Academic performance. Furthermore, the study found that there is a significant relationship between the learning process and level of effectiveness of learning continuity policies and guidelines. The study drew a conclusion that as the learning process increases, it is associated with the increase in the level of effectiveness of learning continuity policies and guidelines among CvSU-CCJ students during a pandemic.
