The study was conducted to determine the awareness and practice of the Philippine Journalist's Code of Ethics by The Gazette writers from the journalism program and writers from different departments of the University. The descriptive method of research was used to determine the awareness and practice of the Philippine Journalist's Code of Ethics by The Gazette writers from the Journalism program and writers from different departments of the University. To obtain accurate information, the researchers conducted an interview on 10 Journalism and Non-Journalism writers to measure their awareness on the Philippine Journalist's Code of Ethics and a content analysis was made on 16 published articles from The Gazette's two latest issues (2016). Based on the interview conducted, both Journalism and non-journalism writers of The Gazette are aware of the Philippine Journalist's code of ethics. But it is also. important to note that the journalism writers scored higher in the said interview.
