DEL ROSARIO This research stuly attempted to determine the relationship of guidance and counselling to the socialization level of DSAC Laboratory School Students, School Year 1995-1996. The total population was 112 Laboratory School Students from the different year levels and sections. It was found out in this study that the reepotdents had moderately high level of socialization and fair involvement in guidance and counselling during the second grading period, They differed in the level of socialization accor@ing to family income and mental ability. Age and sex as the demographic factors which had no relation with the socialization level of the respondents, There were no significant differences in the level of involvement to guidance and counselling of the respondents according to age, sex, family income and mental ability. The study revealed that guidance and counselling had no significant relationship with the socialization level of the respondents. Based on the findings in this study, the following are recommended: 1. The researcher wishes to recommend the planning and reimplementation of homeroom guidance activities by the guidance counselors and teachers; 2. proper guidance of children from the parents especially when it comes to socialization shoulda be done, and; 3. further studies on the relationship between guidance and counselling and student's level of socialization be considered in involving bigger population and samples,
