This farm practice was conducted at F.R.R.E. Mission Prayer and Farm Resort, Kaytitinga, Alfonso, Cavite from December 12, 2007 to February 17, 2008.
The farm practice aims to develop skills in managing vegetable area, orchard area and in conducting farm inventory; to describe the management practices inside the farm; and also, to provide the student hands-on experience in vegetable production and orchard management. Activities such as seed sowing, plot preparation, transplanting, irrigation, weeding, fertilization, pest control and harvesting were done in the vegetable area.
Orchard activities include lay outing, holing, planting, weeding, and fertilizer application. The farm inventory includes tools used in the farm, office and kitchen tools, necessity, number of fruit trees, weekly activities, seeds, chemicals fertilizer and animal population.
The activities conducted at F.R.R.E. Mission Prayer and Farm Resort enhanced the student's skills. The various experiences prepared the student for future employment.
