The age and the year level of the student respondents were correlated to their academic performance while the gender and birth order of the student respondents has no relationship to their academic performance. The data showed that the authoritarian and permissive parenting styles were sometimes being practiced by the parents of the respondents while the democratic parenting style was often being practiced by the parents of the respondents. The academic performances of the Cavite State University- Science High School students were mostly very good. The GPA or Grade Point Average of the students under "very good" category ranges from 90%-94% which only means that the students are doing well at school Lastly, the perceived parenting style was not correlated to the academic performance of the respondents and the profile of the mothers.
