Cavite State University, Cavite Philippines. October 2010.Adviser: Ms. Christine M. Bautista. An entrepreneurial project was conducted at the Animal Science Poultry House, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite from August 25 to October 4, 2010. A total of 100 day-old broiler chicks were raised to expose the student in actual broiler production and to enhance his entrepreneurial skills. After 40 days of feeding, the birds consumed 255 kilograms of feeds with an average of 2.55 kilograms per bird. On average, final weight of birds was 1.35 kilograms. Obtained feed efficiency was 1.89. Zero mortality was recorded. One hundred birds were harvested after 40 days of feeding. The net income obtained from the project was Php 2,957.25. The project was profitable with a computed return on investment value of 34.71 percent.
