The study was conducted to determine the relationship of self-esteem and attitude towards work of working students in Cavite State University, AY 2010-2011. Specifically, this study aimed to: (1) identify the profile of respondents. (2) determine the level of self-esteem of working students in Cavite State University. (3) determine the attitude towards work of working students in Cavite State University. (4) determine if there is significant relationship between profile and self-esteem level of working students in Cavite State University, AY 2010-2011. (5) determine if there is significant relationship between profile and attitude of working students in Cavite State University, AY 2010-2011 (6) determine if there is a significant relationship between self-esteem level and attitude of working students in Cavite State University. This study was conducted at Cavite State University ( Main Campus) from November to December, Academic year 2010-2011. Simple Random Sampling was used in this study. To identify the target number of respondents in every types of scholarship, fishball technique was used, while Slovin’s formula was employed to get the total number of respondents. Respondents of the study were 157 working students detailed as 145 work for tuition or JEP, seven Cvsu states scholar and five working students from Cvsu students Assistant. It was found out that majority of the respondents were in the age bracket of 16 years old and mostly were female. It was also revealed that most of the respondents were from work for tuition ( JEP), and having a Php 5,001 to 7,000 family monthly income. The highest number of working student were from the College of Engineering and Information and Technology. Age, family income, college enrolled and types of scholarship of the respondents were found to have relationship to self-esteem while it was found out that gender had no significant relationship to self-esteem. Result also showed that age, family income and types of scholarship of the respondents were found to have no relationship to attitude towards work while it was found out that college enrolled had significant relationship to attitude towards work. Lastly, results of the study showed that the self-esteem level of working students was related to their attitude towards work. It means that there is a significant relationship between self-esteem and attitude towards work among the working students of Cavite State University (Main Campus). It also indicates that they have a good positive way of thinking and positive attitude towards work.

It means that there is a significant relationship between self-esteem and attitude towards work among the working students of Cavite State University (Main Campus). It also indicates that they have a good positive way of thinking and positive attitude towards work.
