Abstract: DE LIZO, JOHN VINCENT M. and DUGTONG, TIMOTHY FRANSCIS T. Development of Online Management Information System for Trece Martires City National High School. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Marlon R. Pereña. The study was conducted to develop an online management information system that aimed to give solution to the problems regarding the information management in Trece Martires City National High School. The system consists of six modules, namely registration module, report generation module, grading module, student module, faculty and staff module, and security module. These modules provide functionalities for the system. Software development methodology was the basis in the development of the system. The methodology is composed of phases such as analyze/planning phase, breakdown priority project phase, design module phase, integration of sub procedure and testing phase, and test/implementation phase. The study used the following software applications in developing the system: PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the scripting language, My Structured Query Language (MySQL) for the database, Adobe Photoshop for the interface design, and Apache as the server. The system was evaluated by 202 participants including the principal, administrator, teachers and advisers, and students of Trece Martires City National High School. The criteria used in evaluating the software were: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability.
