Workplace Bullying and its relationship to Self — Efficacy and Interpersonal Relationship of Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cavite State University — Main Campus. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014 Adviser: Josephine P. Manapsal, MP. The study aimed to determine if workplace bullying had a significant relationship on the self — efficacy and interpersonal relationship of the faculty. The participants of the study were determined through total enumeration considering the total population of the faculty member of the College of Arts and Sciences. The total number of participants was one hundred four (104). The researchers requested the faculty to fill out the three self — made instruments namely: Covert and Overt Bullying Scale which consists of 20 negative items, Work — Related Self — Efficacy Scale consisting of 28 positive items that corresponds to the sub — variable: performance outcomes, vicarious experiences, verbal persuasion and physiological/ emotional arousal and lastly, the Interpersonal Relationship Scale which consist of 15 positive items that corresponds to the sub- variable, reciprocity, receptivity and association. Statistical analysis of the data gathered included the use of mean and standard deviation to find out the prevalence of workplace bullying of faculty in College of Arts and Sciences, same as with the level of self — efficacy and interpersonal relationship while Pearson Correlation was used to determine its relationship. The faculty members had a very low level of prevalence of workplace bullying in terms of covert and overt bullying. Moreover, their level of work self-efficacy through vicarious experiences, verbal persuasion and physiological/emotional arousal were all in high level while performance outcome was in very high level. In their interpersonal relationship, faculty members have high level and there was no significant relationship with the workplace bullying whether it's covert and overt bullying. There were faculty members who were aware and unaware about bullying behaviors that was manifested by having a high self — efficacy. They easily recover from setbacks and disappointments. It also implies that when the faculty got higher level of bullying the more affected their performance outcomes.
