Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Prof. Maria Corazon A. Buena. A three-month enterprise development project operated from November 19, 2015 to February 23, 2016. The objective of the project is to expose the students to a real life business environment and to apply the knowledge in business management through practical applications of the theories. The conduct of the project specifically aimed to determine the profitability of the pastry business; describe the production and marketing activities of Spoon N’ Chew; and identify the problems encountered by the partners and recommend feasible solutions to the problems identified. The business was in the form of partnership. An initial capital of P30,000.00 was equally shared by the three entrepreneurs. All the duties and responsibilities to operate the project were also shared by the entrepreneurs. The initial investment was used to purchase tools and equipment and raw materials and supplies. The business was able to generate a total sales amounting to P66,470.00. Spoon N” Chew offered two varieties of products. One is the MarCookie with three flavors such as chocolate, vanilla, and peanut. The other product is Sweet Lines Cookie or SLC which has two flavors, the SLC-Peanut and SLC-Plain. The production processes followed in preparing Marcookie’s are preparation, melting, mixing, cooling, slicing and packaging. The production process in producing Sweet Lines Cookie included preparation, grinding of cookies, mixing, layering and packaging. The entrepreneurs used the cost-based and competitive pricing strategies in determining the prices of the products. Since the business do direct selling, they have a lot of distributors at different places like Bakery at Country Meadow, Williams bakery at Tierra Nevada General Trias Cavite, Sol Store in Dasmarinas Kadiwa, Kalamay Kubo, Public Market in Indang Cavite, relatives ,friends, neighbour and etc. Furthermore, the entrepreneurs faced difficulties in their first day of selling of the products to their target customers, lack of supplies of raw mater
