The Entrepreneurial Project was conducted in Barangay Palumlum, Alfonso, Cavite from February 07, 2017, to May 19, 2017. This project was conducted for the student entrepreneur to obtain skills in actual management in hogs and enhance knowledge in managing a swine production project.
A total of 8 weanlings were raised with a initial body weight of 16.75 kgs. After a rearing period of 83 days, the hogs consumed a total of 1000 kgs of feeds with an average feed consumption of 125 kgs per head. The hogs obtained an average final body weight of 65 kgs with a feed efficiency of 2.59. The computed harvest recovery was 100 percent. The project was found profitable with a net income of P 11,518.25 having a return on investment of 20.48 %.
