CUENO, CARLOS MARASIGAN; FERRERA, DANNY A. "RFM BREEDER CONTRACT FARM". Undergraduate Case Study, Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Don Severino Agri-cultural College, April, 1993. Adviser: Miss Lina Abogadie.
A three-month field study (from June to August, 1992) was conducted in RFM Breeder Farms (Ivan and Gazcel Farm) in Sabang, Naic, Cavite and in one con-tract-to-grow farm (Reyes Farm) in Natatas, Tanauan, Batangas to apply gained knowledge, skills and tools in agribusiness management to real-life situations. Problems of the farm were identified and solutions were recommended.
It was found out that problems on production activities were due to inefficient management. Also, there was an increasing number of rejected eggs. Broken eggs result because of the rough road from the farm to the delivery site.
The farm should develop different policies and procedures for proper guidance of workers and to facilitate job monitoring and evaluation. To solve the problems on the increasing number of rejects, there should be a construction of concrete roads.
