Abstract: The best place for swine farming is far from urban place and no harmful effects in the neighbors. The most applicable management practices were health and sanitation to keep the pigpen and hogs clean all throughout the duration period. To determine the profitability of pig farming the hogs must have a good quality of carcass and have no illness during market day. The process used in hog raising was preparation of housing, disinfection, purchase of feeds, vitamins and stocks, feeding management until marketing. The entrepreneur also learned to acquire a proper care and good production management skills resulting in better quality of hogs and gained high profit. After 106 days the stocks weighed an average live weight of 94.25 kg. With an average daily gain of 741.70 grams per day. The hogs consumed an average of 200 kg of feeds per head, giving a feed conversion ratio of 2.54. A total of ₱36,408.84 was used for buying of stocks, feeds, medicine, and other inputs used in the operation. The business yield a net income of ₱8,911.16 giving a return on investment (ROI) of 24.48%. The break-even point by weight is kg per head and by price is ₱11,310 per head. Profit and loss statement is an important event for a small business. At one glance, it provides a summary of the most important activities of the business.
