This study aims to develop a Bookkeeping System for Cavite State University Multipurpose Cooperative for easier and more convenient of managing payments and other transactions with the members or their clients. The system is composed of three modules: account management module, bookkeeping module and report generation module.
The proponents used Prototyping Model to develop the system. The prototyping methodology performed the analysis, design and implementation phase concurrently, and all three phases were performed repeatedly in a cycle until the system was completed. In developing the system, the developers used VB.net as the main programming language, My Structured Query Language (MySQL) and Microsoft Word 2013.
The system was evaluated by some faculty members and CvSU NIPC staffs. The criteria for the software evaluation were functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability, and user-friendliness. Based on the evaluation results of the evaluation, the software passed and was able to comply with all the requirements as it met its objectives.
