Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University. April 2014. Adviser: Ms. Rolinda G. Parreno. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of level of awareness and respect to obedience level of the first year and fourth year students of Cavite State University-Main Campus for academic year 2013-2014. Specifically, this study aimed to: (1) determine the level of awareness of first year and fourth year students towards school policies; (2) determine the level of respect of first year and fourth year students towards school policies; (3) determine the level of obedience of first year and fourth year students towards school policies; (4) find out if there is a significance difference between first year and fourth year student in terms of awareness, respect and obedience; and (5) to determine if there is a significant relationship between; awareness and respect, awareness and obedience , respect and obedience. The study used the correlational- comparative design as the research method and stratified random sampling to determine the target sample of the study. The total participants of the study were 372 that were divided in two groups, which included 274 first year and 98 fourth year students. The instruments used by researchers underwent the process of validation with three different professionals and the process of reliability. It was found out that the awareness and obedience level of the first year towards university policies are lower than the fourth year students but they have the same level of respect towards university policies. Further, in terms of difference of first year and fourth year students among variables, it was revealed that there is a significant difference. The result of the relationship of three variables revealed that the awareness, respect and obedient towards university policies were significantly related with each other.
