Abstract: MARC DARREL P. ALCAZAR, JANEL F. BERNARDINO, MICHAELLA Q. DANTES, AND JOHN LENNARD G. PABALAN. Assessment of Security Measures Implemented in Selected Schools In Trece Martires City, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis Submitted to the Faculty of College of Criminal Justice Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. This study was conducted for the purposes of assessment that can help the Selected Schools in Trece Martires City to further improve or develop their existing security measures based on the objective of this study which is the level of physical security in terms of Perimeter Barriers and Access Control. It also sought answers to the following: (1) Identify the level of security measures implemented in the selected schools in Trece Martires City in terms of perimeter barriers and access control (2) Identify the problems encountered by the participants on the implementation of Security in Selected Schools in Trece Martires City, Cavite terms of perimeter barriers and access control; and (3) Determine the significant relationship between the level of security measures implemented in selected schools in Trece Martires City, Cavite. Security measures pertain to the various security installations and policies implemented which aim to protect the assets from potential threats, loss or damage. This study discussed the level of security measures as well as the problems to be encountered in terms of the perimeter barriers & access control. Also, Significant relationship of each to determine its relevance. It is essential for every institution to understand the level of security measures to sort out what are the aspects of security as well as the assets that are at risk or vulnerable to threats which shall be neutralized and improved. This research applied the Quantitative Research Design, and the data were collected & gathered from 100 people that are visiting & reporting as well as those who can observe the security measures including the Students, Teachers & Staff. It would be beneficial to the schools to determine and evaluate the existing risks and hazards while upholding the school's educational goal because it would create a pleasant, safe, secured, and welcoming atmosphere for students, professors, staff, and visitors. The cooperation of the respondents would boost its safety and security, and it would be easier for the security personnel to classify the threats that the students, professors, staff, and visitors encountered and that would save them more time thus they can focus more on implementation and other necessary actions.
