The estimated prevalence rate also includes children. These children are also termed as Children with Special Needs (CSN). These children needs special treatment and must be enrolled in a special education class for the provision of their emotional, social, intellectual, physical and spiritual needs. This study was conducted to determine the management system of the selected schools in terms of type, CSN accepted, teacher-CSN ratio and population and the level of satisfaction among parents or guardians of CSN enrolled in selected private and public schools in Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to identify the level of satisfaction of parents regarding the services offered by selected schools. Determine the difference on the level of satisfaction of parents having CSN enrolled in private and public schools in Cavite. Determine the difference on the health services offered by the selected private and public school in Cavite. This study was conducted from August 2010 to February 2011 among selected private and public schools for CSN in the province of Cavite. It also included the parents of the enrolled CSN in Cavite. A descriptive design was used for this study. One hundred three (103) CSN and parents were selected the respondents of the study. The research instrument is composed of three parts, namely management system of the schools, level of satisfaction of parents and assessment on CSN from physical to spiritual, and assessments on the level of knowledge of CSN. The data collected were treated statistically using mean, frequency, percent distribution, averaging, and Mann-Whitney test. It was found out that the parents of CSN enrolled in selected private and public schools in Cavite were satisfied in the development of their children. Findings reveal that there were differences among health services offered by private and public schools; however, there is no difference in the level of satisfaction of parents towards the health services. The teacher-CSN ratio varies in selected public and private schools in Cavite. The population of selected private schools is similar to the population of selected public schools in Cavite. The level of learning and behavioral characteristics of CSN in both selected public and private schools in Cavite was average. The level of knowledge of CSN enrolled in both selected private and public schools in Cavite was also Average. All selected schools have SpEd Olympics, singing, dancing, painting, bible study, religion class, reading, writing, computation and quiz bee. They do not have worship songs with parents and social day every Friday. The level of cognitive learning in spelling of CSN enrolled in public schools is higher than the private while the level of cognitive learning of CSN in hearing and speech is higher in private than in public schools.
